Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) season 12 cast member Crystal Kung Minkoff opened up about her eating disorder and bulimia in the latest episode. Kyle Richards and Diana Jenkins approached her about an Instagram post where she revealed her illness in one of the sequences. The tweet was dated December 7, 2021, during the taping of Season 12 of RHOBH. Minkoff opened up about her battles with ED in the latest episode. Richards then told her story about bulimia from when she was younger. The three women ended their conversation with tears in their eyes and hearty hugs.

Crystal Kung Minkoff’s Eating Disorder
Bulimia nervosa, also known as bulimia nervosa, is a severe eating disorder that can be fatal. According to the Mayo Clinic, bulimia is defined as:
“People with bulimia may secretly binge – consume large amounts of food without control – and then purge, trying to get rid of the extra calories in an unhealthy way.”
Crystal alerted her followers via Instagram that she will be discussing her health on RHOBH Season 12 Episode 11. The post read:
“I’m going to start talking about my eating problem tonight.” While both the event and probably reliving it were difficult, it’s not something I’m ashamed of or feel defines who I am. It’s a part of me; a living question that I face every day.”
It went on:
“If you are suffering, please remember that you do not have to heal alone.” Support is available whether you are looking for a family member, friend, teacher, coach, mentor, workplace, professional, helpline or anyone else you feel comfortable talking to.”
On the latest episode of RHOBH, what advice did Erika Jayne give to Crystal Minkoff?
Crystal Minkoff was seen discussing her ER with Garcelle Beauvais and Erika Jayne at Diana’s house party on RHOBH Season 12 Episode 11. She said she suffers around the holidays because they involve a lot of food. When Erika Jayne advised Minkoff to use laxatives, the discussion soon turned awkward. Both Beauvais and Minkoff seemed stunned. Beauvais admitted in the confessional:
“Is that a laxative?” She suffers from an eating disorder! Erika is not a doctor and you don’t give laxatives to someone with an eating disorder. It’s really the most inconvenient thing at the most inconvenient time.”
After Jayne continued to question Minkoff about her health, he asked if Jayne was trying to help or if she was just drunk. Jayne asked for another drink after taunting Minkoff about her food situation, and the program ended on a cliffhanger.
According to the official description for episode 11, titled The Weight of Words:
“Dorit fangirls because of Jamie Lee Curtis, who is a special guest at Kyle’s benefit lunch; a striking social media post draws attention to Crystal; and Sutton understands that some friendships are not meant to be.”
Jamie Lee Curtis appeared as a guest star in the last episode. It also saw Sutton Stracke and Diana Jenkins settle their previous fight in the episode. Kathy Hilton, sister of Kyle Richards, made a triumphant return to the program in episode 11. More drama could be seen on Bravo next week.
