The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Kung Minkoff and her husband, Rob Minkoff, recognize the hilarity of the reality star’s first feud on the show.
Kung Minkoff, 40, recently shared Viall files podcast that her husband appreciates one iconic item in her wardrobe — “her ugly leather pants.”
Star Bravo shared how Lion King co-director, 61, has “not let” her wear pants since they debuted on the show in Season 11’s eighth episode, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Leather Pants.”
“They are so special that my husband won’t let me wear them,” said the TV personality. “He comes to me every few months, [asking]’Do you know where they are?'”
“He loves these pants,” Kung Minkoff said, adding that she hasn’t worn pants since filming the episode.
“You know how people wear their wedding dresses [in a frame]? He wants to do it with these pants,” Kung Minkoff said. “He just thinks they’re so iconic in a way that’s kind of unnatural.”
The reality star confirmed that the pants are “very safe”. She joked that they were “almost like jewelry” and confirmed that they were “hidden somewhere.” When host Nick Viall asked her if they were hidden in the vault, she jokingly confirmed that they were.

The “iconic” pants are from a significant feud with Kung Minkoff’s colleague, Sutton Stracke.
During the argument, Stracke, 52, questioned Kung Minkoff’s choice of clothing after Kung Minkoff claimed her colleague was jealous of her.
Stracke quickly retorted: “Jealous of what?! Your ugly leather pants?!”

The spat between Stracke and Kung Minkoff began with a heated conversation about confronting racial stereotypes. It further escalated when Kung Minkoff felt “hurt” because Stracke entered her room while she was naked. Other women said they thought their new colleague was using “harsh” language and asked her to apologize to Stracke.
Kung Minkoff stood her ground, and the relationship between the two soured a little more. This then led to their feud during the episode “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Leather Pants”.

Offscreen, Stracke apologized to Kung Minkoff for interrupting her as she recounted her experiences with racial stereotyping. Stracke also promised to “do better and be better.”
Since then, the two women have become close friends. Kung Minkoff told PEOPLE that Stracke is one of her Bravo franchise co-stars with whom she feels closest.
Kung Minkoff joined the series in season 11, a year after Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais debuted on the series.
