Crystal Kung Minkoff is forever grateful to Annemarie Wiley for her help after a frightening case of high blood pressure.
In Wednesday’s episode The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsCrystal, 40, found herself in need of Annemarie’s help despite their differences when she suffered a medical scare on a Housewives trip to Barcelona, Spain.
Pulled over on the side of the road, Crystal informed the ladies that she was feeling “dizzy” after an intense bout of nausea that caused nausea and varicose veins.
As Annemarie instructed her to “squeeze my fingers”, Crystal was frightened by the fact that she was showing “stroke symptoms”. The other housewives rallied around her, and Dorit told the cameras that she was worried that “something was really wrong with her” after noticing her “gray” skin, sweat beads and raised veins.

“This is not just like ‘lay down and drink some ginger ale and walk away,'” Annemarie told the cameras.
“But with Crystal repeatedly insulting and demeaning my profession, the irony of what’s happening right now is literally shocking,” she added, referring to their ongoing drama, which includes claims that Annemarie allegedly posed as a doctor and not as a nurse.
Crystal laid down in the sprinter’s van and waited for the medical professionals to arrive, while Annemarie claimed, “I don’t want her to get up and have a hypertensive crisis or something and then hit … not that that’s ever going to happen!”
When the paramedics arrived, Crystal called her blood pressure, reading “177 to 108” to Annemarie, who replied, “Yes, there it is.” Paramedics decided to take the reality star to the hospital, and the ladies continued with their plans after sending Crystal well wishes and support.

After lighting candles and praying to the saints at a nearby church, Annemarie received a call from Crystal who told her she was on an IV and was feeling much better after taking anti-nausea medicine. She said that she got prescription drugs and was going back to the house to meet up with the girls again.
When they returned home, the women found her resting in bed. Crystal explained that her doctor at home got involved and became emotional as she admitted how “terrifying” the ordeal was.
“There is a history of high blood pressure in my family history [and] hypertension and it’s something I know I’ve struggled with, but I didn’t know it could get to this point,” she said in a confessional interview. “It was so scary, and even though my dad always told me to watch for signs of a stroke, some people cannot return.”
“I have never faced my mortality,” she added. “I really appreciate that Annemarie was there for me and put aside all our differences at what was truly a rock bottom moment for me.”

At dinner that night, Erika Jayne praised Annemarie for “letting your profession trump your personal s—, and that was really nice to see.”
“Always,” she replied. – I will always do that.
Crystal agreed with Erika’s perspective and told Garcelle Beauvais of her plans to bury the hatchet and redeem herself.
“Annemarie was amazing today, I really saw a really kind and generous side and it makes me want to move forward in our friendship and start over,” she told the cameras.
