RHOBH’s Dorit Kemsley and Paul Kemsley Deny Separation amid ‘Challenging Years’ in Marriage: ‘We Remain Committed’

Dorit Kemsley and husband Paul “PK” Kemsley are not separated despite rumors that the two live in separate residences.

The The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills the couple told PEOPLE in a statement Wednesday night that their eight-year marriage remains intact — even though they “had some challenging years,” which they “discussed openly” on Season 13 of the Bravo series.

“We remain committed to resolving these issues as a united couple of our family,” the Kemsleys said. “We have not separated nor do we plan to. Instead, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage.”

They continued to ask for the support of the viewers. “We would be grateful for everyone’s understanding,” their statement reads. “We are doing everything we can to focus on the best interests of our family, rather than spending time fighting rumors and stories that are not true.”

Their message was signed, “Love, Dorit and PK.”

Rumors of a possible split spread online this week, and a caller asked Dorit’s friends, Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, about the split speculation on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The question seemingly caught the reality stars by surprise, both claiming they hadn’t heard it.

Earlier in the evening, on RHOBH Season 13 premiere, Dorit confronted co-star Erika Girardi over speculation at last year’s BravoCon that she and PK would go to “Splitsville” next. “To see you act like that was deeply hurtful,” she told Girardi. “What you said about PK and me was mean.”

In apologizing and explaining why she did it, Girardi said she was asked a “questionable question” and then “gave a vague answer,” adding that she was just doing the show.

“Dorit, is your marriage strong?” Girardi said, to which Dorit replied, “My marriage is very strong.”

Still, Sutton Stracke put the PK rumors to rest in the episode, claiming that the night he was arrested for DUI in December 2021, “he may or may not have had a woman with him.”

Other previous rumors that circulated included one of the RHOBH alum Dana Wilkey, who claimed that Dorit and Richards’ estranged husband Mauricio Umansky were having an affair. In response, Dorit lashed out at Wilkey on Instagram, calling her “one of the thirstiest people I’ve ever seen.”

“Something wrong with you woman? Or are you just so miserable in your life that you have nothing better to do?” she said. “Kyle and Mo are our friends and my kids call them uncle and aunt. Do you think it’s okay for my kids to see when it’s a disgusting lie? If that’s the only way you can make money, so be it, but at least keep in mind have some decency and stop trying to push fake stories especially when you know there is ZERO truth behind it and your whole motive is just to hurt people for no reason.”
