In an Instagram post on Sunday, with a snap from her recent vacation in Mykonos, Greece, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared how she’s looking to a brighter future after announcing her engagement to Andy Bohn.
“My life has changed unfortunately, unexpectedly, on so many levels,” she captioned a picture of herself posing next to several colorful staircases. “But I promise myself that what lies ahead will only be stairs going up.❤️.”

Last week, Bellino, 46, confirmed that she and Bohn had gone their separate ways after he proposed in December 2020.
“Drew and I have lovingly decided to separate as a couple,” the reality star told PEOPLE in a statement. “Despite this, our love for each other remains strong and we both sincerely wish only the best for each other. We understand that it is in our best interest to go our separate ways.”
She continued: “We kindly ask for your thoughts and prayers for both of our families as we work through this breakup, especially with the recent loss of my mother.”

In addition to the statement, the Bravolebrity shared a motivational quote with her followers on Instagram, which read: “I truly believe that every person has to go through something that absolutely destroys them in order to realize who they really are.”
The news of the broken engagement came a month after the tragic death of her mother Penelope.
“🦋🦋Mom, you are finally free,” she wrote in a touching tribute on Instagram. “You can walk again, cook, dance, hold a glass, talk, hug, laugh… you’re out of that horrible body that held you captive for the last three years. You put up the strongest fight I’ve ever seen.”
“I promise you that I will make sure that the UCLA brain donation program finds out what stole your beautiful life from you at such a young age, and we will help others so that your torture was not in vain,” she continued. “You light up every room, even when you couldn’t speak anymore, the medical staff still said you were their favorite, and that’s because your energy is contagious.”
The reality star also opened up about her grief after her mother’s death, saying: “The hole in my heart is unbearable and it feels like it will never mend. I’m numb and still can’t believe you’re really gone. I don’t know how I’ll ever be myself again and I hope the tears stop.”

Bellino first went public with Bohn in February 2019, sharing a photo of the pair embracing in Los Angeles Rams jerseys before the Super Bowl. “Love is in the air,” the reality star captioned the Instagram post.

In December 2020, Bellino and Bohn announced their engagement with a photo on Instagram of the two kissing while she wore an engagement ring on her finger.
