RHOC Alum Noella Bergener Engaged to Bobby Schubenski: ‘My Heart Is Full and My Hand Is Heavy’

Friday the 13th certainly wasn’t unlucky for Noella Bergener!

The The Real Housewives of Orange County alumna ended her week off on a high note when boyfriend Bobby Schubenski popped the question with a spectacular square-cut diamond ring.

Bergener, 38, showed off the rock on her private Instagram page. “My heart is full and my hand is heavy,” the former Bravo star wrote with the post.

She also posed with Schubenski, 35, for the picture, which was taken with her fiancé hugging her as the two posed in front of their yellow sports cars.

“We are engaged,” she added in the hashtag. “Friday 13.!”

Schubenski also shared the image on his Instagram, adding a ring and a champagne emoji.

Well wishes poured in for the couple in the comments section, with former Orange County Housewives Vicki Gunvalson, Lizzie Rovsek and Peggy Tanous all sending their congratulations. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay also sent her regards, calling the couple a “beautiful couple”.

Similar praise came from Nicole James, who made a brief appearance alongside Bergener RHOC. “Congratulations my beautiful sister,” she wrote. “I love you so much, no one deserves it more. Bobby, you were good, my fried. You didn’t skimp on that diamond!”

“A beautiful ring, but most importantly, the most beautiful couple,” she added. “I love you both to the moon and back. Congratulations. I can’t wait for the celebration.”

Bravo viewers first met Bergener as a guest of Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s in season 15 RHOC. She officially joined the cast in season 16 as a full-time housewife.

At the time, she was married to personal injury attorney James “Sweet James” Bergener, although he never appeared on the show. The former couple were together for five years and married for one before he filed for divorce in Puerto Rico, where they live, in July 2021 while Bravo cameras were filming. A month later, she filed for legal separation in Orange County.

Although a messy battle ensued over the couple’s split, all proceedings were concluded that December. They have a three-year-old son, James Jr., while Noella is the mother of a daughter, Coco (8), from a previous relationship.

Schubenski, a bass player and co-owner of the clothing company Blackcraft Cult, is also a father to a seven-year-old daughter, Jordan. He shares his child with ex-fiancée and retired professional wrestler Milena Roucka, known to WWE fans as Rosa Mendes.

Total divas fans might remember Schubenski and Roucke. While together, the two appeared on E! network series, with their engagement and pregnancy a key plot point in Season 5.

RHOC viewers never got a chance to see Schubenski’s relationship with Noella play out on the show. Although she went public with their romance in the Season 16 reunion in April 2022, she did not return to the series for Season 17.

However, it seems that the newly engaged couple were planning to go into business together. “He bought me a company for the adult toy market,” she said during the reunion. “We just protected it. It’s called Playland and I’m really excited about it. It was my Christmas present.”
