‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Gina Kirschenheiter called out Shannon Storms Beador for not apologizing during the reunion over her co-star’s comments about how Gina’s alcohol-induced condition affected her children
Gina Kirschenheiter accuses Shannon Storms Beador of using her previous DUI as a “weapon” and involving her children in the process.
In the first part of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion on Wednesday, host Andy Cohen confronted Shannon about bringing up the 2019 real estate agent’s DUI earlier this season after he promised never to bring it up during last year’s reunion.
Back on episode 12 of the Bravo show, Shannon drank too much at her taco fiesta party and claimed Gina’s kids would have been taken away by child protective services if she hadn’t given her number to a lawyer when she was arrested for driving under the influence.

When later confronted about the comments, the 59-year-old reality star said she did not remember the claims she made. At the reunion, Gina told Andy that she never got an apology for Shannon’s lies.
“Gina, I don’t remember saying that,” Shannon said, defending herself. “When I made that statement, I did not say that your children will be put into the system and taken away from you. It was if you were arrested and an adult would not be present. They wouldn’t leave your children there until you take care of your legal affairs.”
She admitted: “That’s what Heather told me [Dubrow] that you talked about my relationship. I was very angry with you. I do not like you. We don’t get along because you don’t know anything about me.”

Gina interrupted Shannon and asked her to list the names of her children. When the TV personality drew a blank, the mother-of-three demanded she “never talk about my kids again”.
“I’ve known you for six years and you don’t even know my children’s names,” she continued. “And you’re going to drop a bomb about CPS. It is completely incorrect. It’s so inappropriate.”
She added: “You’re out of line here Shannon, you were wrong. And to have anything other than ‘I’m sorry for my behavior’ now — you’re falling low.”
Shannon admitted it was an “unkind thing to do”, while Gina claimed she was “concerned” about other people discussing her relationship with her now ex-boyfriend John Janssen and that she was “making things up” about her children.

“This is you. You’re a woman who proves that you did a s— thing and you don’t just lie there and say you’re sorry, it’s not right,” Gina continued, while Shannon admitted she was “horrified” watching the episode back.
Shannon defended herself once again, claiming she believed they had worked things out the day after her explosive taco party. She told the group she was always “kind” to Gina and said she had a “laundry list” of good deeds — including sending her a life jacket when she was arrested for DUI.
“You gave me a phone number four and a half years ago and you’ve been using it as a weapon ever since,” Gina said, explaining why the situation caused her so much pain. “My kids are this close to being on social media. You put some clickbait there. ‘Gina, Mom, CPS kids almost taken.’ My children, for them to see this and be hurt because of it, and you don’t even know their names.”

“This is a wound that has stayed with me and will stay with me, you’ve crossed the line to the point where I don’t even know if I can honestly continue to do this,” she said.
Ironically, 10 days before the reunion taped, PEOPLE confirmed that Shannon was “arrested at 1:17 a.m. on Sept. 17 after fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run accident,” according to the Newport Beach Police Department.
NBPD also confirmed that Beador “was cited for two misdemeanors — hit and run and DUI. She was released on bond.”

After the news, Gina addressed Shannon’s legal problems to her Orange country podcast and told her co-host Shane McAnally that she’s not going to “kick someone when they’re around.”
“Both you and I can identify with what is happening here, sympathize with what is happening here. Yeah, obviously, you can’t ignore…the irony of it, which is the main one,” she told Shane. “But honestly, at the end of the day … I just don’t have it in me. I’m not going to kick someone when they’re sad, and I was sad.”
“I know where she is now. It’s not a good place to be – mentally, emotionally,” she added.
