Guerdy Abrira’s son is another year older!
On Thursday, August 22, The Real Housewives of Miami star, 46, celebrated her eldest son Miles’ 17th birthday by sharing a carousel of photos on her Instagram. Guerdy shared some throwback photos, as well as some recent photos of her and her son sharing a laugh together.
“Happy 17th birthday my sweet Miles. Your father named you after Miles Davis and rightly so because your temperament is a jazz melody 🎶,” Guerdy wrote in the caption.
“I remember how much I was in disbelief when I became a mother for the first time and I looked in the rearview mirror at every red light🚦 to look at you just to make sure that I am not dreaming and that you are real. You are the most unique person I know and the few who are part of the ‘MILES world’ are more than happy, I love you my love forever 🥹.”

The reality TV star shares sons Miles and Liam, 10, with husband Russell Abrair.
Last August, Guerdy, who revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer that May, shared several photos on Instagram as she spent quality time with her two sons amid cancer treatment. In the post, Guerdy shared a video of her son Liam kissing her on the nose as she sat up in bed.
She also shared a group photo of Miles, Russell and Liam as the trio smile together for a photo. In the last shot, the reality star posed with Liam in a selfie.
“My loves ❤️❤️❤️ #myboys #family #boymom #blessed,” Abraira captioned her post.
In May 2023, Guerdy revealed her breast cancer diagnosis, sharing the news in a statement on her Instagram. “I was in St. Barts having the best time when the doctor called me with the results from my regular mammogram. I have breast cancer,” her post began.
“It’s taken me a while to process all of this and that’s why I took a break from social media last month, as many have noticed. Many of you have reached out to check on me and I appreciate your caring gestures.”
She then went on to explain that she was “preparing for my upcoming surgery and that’s when my treatment plan will come,” adding, “This process is definitely intense and what I’m asking for from you is empowerment, not pity.”
