RHONY: Jessel Taank Urges Husband Pavit to Attend Couples Therapy amid Disagreements Over Having Baby No. 3

To get on the same page, Jessel Taank wants to seek professional help with her husband Pavita Randhaw.

In the episode of November 5 The Real Housewives of New YorkJessel and Pavit couldn’t agree on their ongoing discussion about their third child. While on a date night at a fancy Chinese restaurant, Jessel asked the big question: Is Pavit okay with using one of their frozen embryos to welcome a baby girl?

“I don’t think the decision about another child is made by just one person,” she began before Pavit quickly interjected, “Well the decision has already been made. No baby.”

After whispering, “Oh my God. You’re stressing me out, man,” the Bravolebrity, 45, admitted she felt not using the embryos would be a “huge mistake.”

“I think that would be a big mistake because we have an embryo. A lot of people who want to have a girl naturally, I can’t guarantee that,” she explained before pausing when Pavit interrupted her to snap a photo of their food. “I’m about to lose my s—.”

Jessel continued, “I think we should probably see a professional therapist to help us figure this out. I think you and I and our communication could use some work.”

When the pair finished debating whose communication skills were worse, Jessel told the cameras that she thought “a therapist would help him understand his emotions.”

“Communication is key in a marriage, and as much as it opens the door to baby talk, I really think it might help Pavit and I communicate a little better,” she added.

Over dinner, Pavit asked how much couples counseling would cost. When Jessel said sessions could cost $300 to $500, Pavit said, “No way,” and insisted he could find a cheaper alternative.

“I think we should try,” she replied. “You always kind of gravitate toward, ‘Oh, that’s a bad thing.’ Not really. Many people actually do therapy, like Jenna [Lyons] and Cass [Bird] do therapy for example.”

Pavit eventually claimed he would “put it on my list” and Jessel admitted his approach was “very frustrating”.

“That’s just his way, he sweeps everything under the rug. There’s no story. That’s how we deal with conflicts in our household and to tell you the truth, this doesn’t work,” she said to the cameras.

When Jessel let out a sigh, Pavit insisted that he would arrange the first session.
