Carrie Coon has some hot takes on the subject of aging.
On November 4 His three daughters star responded to a commenter on X (formerly known as Twitter) who said she looks “35 and 55 at the same time” and “old and young” (although she also looks “good as hell”).
“Thank you. I totally agree and can answer this question: 43, generally healthy, two small children and too little rest, no botox or fillers. Have a great day,” the Emmy-nominated actress replied.
She followed up with another post that read: “And I’m not trolling you! I really agree! I feel ‘good as hell’ and love my forties; some days I feel like I’m 35 and some days I feel like I’m 55, but they’re all me.”
Others praised Coon for her way of thinking about aging.
“53, no way. You look great. I’m glad you’re going the natural route of aging,” one person wrote. “As a 41-year-old mom in SoCal, I send you a big THANK YOU for avoiding botox and fillers as a public figure. It is so rare and so appreciated!” added another.

Coon is humorous about her looks, especially when it comes to her on-screen appearance.
I’m talking to PEOPLE about the role of Bertha Russell The Gilded Ageon which she has been since 2020, she joked about how far she went to become a 19th-century character.
“When you get to 4 p.m. in a corset and high heels, you just start losing your mind,” she said in an interview in August. “You start to understand why women changed five or six times a day, upper-class women, because they needed a break.”
She added that she and co-star Amber Gray would also “make a sport of” pulling off their elaborate costumes.
