RHONY’s Jessel Taank Details ‘Wild’ Vacation Night Without Electricity As Hurricane Beryl Passed

Jessel Taank talks about how her family made it through the hurricane in Jamaica.

The The Real Housewives of New York star, 41, documented her night on a family holiday as Hurricane Beryl passed her resort. On her Instagram Story, Tank posted a video of strong wind and rain moving palm trees outside.

“We’re kind of in the thick of it,” she said from behind the camera.

“Wild,” she added.

The next shot shows her three-year-old twins, Rio and Kai, running in circles in a hotel room as she laughs.

“Entertaining little kids during a category 5 hurricane with no power 😳,” she captioned the screen.

Five hours later, she discovered they still didn’t have power, so she joked that everyone would be eating cereal for dinner.

The next morning, July 4, Taank updated her followers with a photo of calmer skies.

“It’s over,” she wrote. “Thank you to the amazing @halfmoonjamaica staff for thinking of every detail and making sure we were all safe 🩵”

In April, the PR manager posted a photo celebrating a milestone in her sons’ lives on Instagram, which she created for them. The cute snap showed the boys – who she shares with her husband Pavit Randhaw – sitting side by side with their hands intertwined wearing matching button-up jumpers.

“Our first official school picture!! We look so nerdy and cute 🤓🥰,” the description read.

“It’s their first ever; it’s so good,” the proud mom told PEOPLE exclusively. “We can’t get them to stand still for more than 10 seconds!”

Despite being twins, Taank explained that Rio and Kai develop unique personalities and traits as they age.

“Kai has beautiful hazel eyes. He has light hair and I think it suits him better after Pavit,” she explains. “And Rio has dimples to die for; I think he’s attacking me more – a bit cheeky, a bit mean. They’ve started playing with each other more, which is a huge relief because they would have just ignored each other for two years.”

The twins started preschool for the first time last fall, and ended up in a private school for spectators RHONY watched Taank and her husband discuss season 14.

“They really love it,” she revealed. “I think with young children, they want to be constantly entertained and stimulated. As a parent, you can’t always do that for them. So it’s really nice that now they have a space where they are constantly being challenged. Both learning and growing.”
