RHOP’s Mia Thornton Goes Instagram Official with New Boyfriend and Hints at 2024 Wedding Date — See the Pic!

Looks like Mia Thornton has big plans for 2024.

The The Real Housewives of Potomac star on Sunday, she officially took to Instagram with her new boyfriend, sharing a photo on her social media page of the two posing in a loving embrace. And in her caption, she hinted that a wedding could be in their future, writing “4.4.4.” (for April 4, 2024).

“Let’s go!” she said, adding “2024” in the title.

Until Mia named her mystery man, her RHOP Costars were quick to praise the couple. “Hardest soft launch 🔥🔥,” Ashley Darby wrote, while Gizelle Bryant said: “Okkkkkkkk! 2024 is coming hottttt!”

Mia was wearing a sparkling diamond in the picture that finger — the same one she was seen wearing at BravoCon 2023 in November. The ring is not an engagement ring, Mia told Andy Cohen Watch what’s happening live in December, but it is a symbol that shows “I am committed”.

Of course, before Mia walks down the aisle, she will have to finalize her divorce from her husband of 11 years, Gordon Thornton. She announced their divorce exclusively to PEOPLE back in September and said he WWHL that the split – which happened in June – was “mutual”.

Their financial woes, however, “have a lot to do with it.” She shared with Cohen the money problems of the past few years that had “put a strain on the marriage.”

on RHOP of the Season 7 reunion last February, Mia revealed that she and Gordon were “literally living off our savings” after Gordon’s brothers allegedly pushed him out of their business, The Join Chiropractic. This season, Bravo cameras followed the two as they moved into a smaller rental house and began couples therapy to work through their differences.

“The relationship between Gordon and I has definitely changed,” Mia said in an episode earlier this season. “Since Gordon was kicked out of the family business, he’s been working a lot more because we’ve been expanding our portfolio with other partner groups, so it’s causing a lot of tension in our marriage. And for me, spending time with the kids and having a balance is much better than always working and then we look up and our children are grown up.”

“Gordon got to the point where he wasn’t listening to me anymore and I want Gordon to step down,” she added in the interview confessional. “Like, you said it yourself, you don’t want to miss another chance to be a great father, and you’re a phenomenal father. Do it.”

But as Gordon explained to their therapist, he made it his goal to provide Mia and their children with a lifestyle that was cut short when the business failed. “I set goals and then I don’t let anything stand in my way,” he said. “I’m going to get it. I wanted to get to a certain economic level, so [Mia] and the children would be placed no matter what happened to me. I was almost there, so I tried really hard to get those last few nuggets.”

Although Gordon seemed ready for change on camera, Mia admitted to Cohen that going to therapy in Season 8 only “made it worse.”

One thing that is going well is how the two rabbits are coping with co-parenting. The two have a son Jeremiah Carter (8) and a daughter Juliana (6), and both have one child from previous relationships.

“Kids are great,” Mia said WWHL, emphasizing that they are “very good co-parents”. She said: “We communicate well, contrary to public belief.”
