Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow may have reconciled in the last episode The Real Housewives of Salt Lake Citybut other friendships are on thin ice.
Tuesday’s episode of the Bravo series began with both the jewelry designer and the founder of Vida Tequila apologizing for their past actions and promising to continue their friendship. However, Meredith, 51, couldn’t say the same for her relationship with Whitney Rose as they were both still struggling after last week’s bathtub spat.
After Meredith invited all the housewives — except Angie Katsanevas — to visit drag queen Trixie Mattel’s Trixie Motel in Palm Springs, Whitney, 36, took it upon herself to take Angie, 49.
“Bringing Angie in as a surprise, I’m fully aware that I’m poking a bear, lighting a match, throwing it into the fire,” Whitney said in a confessional of her decision.
What’s more, Whitney and Angie flew to Palm Springs before the other women so Whitney could “mark her territory.”

The two seemingly became fast friends, with Whitney saying in the confessional that their “lives aligned” as they enjoyed a double dinner with their husbands.
However, as Whitney grew closer to the new full-time housewife, Heather Gay repeatedly expressed her lingering disdain for Angie, with whom she clashed last season.
After he said in the confessional that Angie “had a peak in high school” (Heather and Angie have known each other since tenth grade), Bad Mormon the author, 49, told Monica Garcia that she “doesn’t want anything to do” with the “catty and jealous” hairdresser.

On the other hand, Angie told her husband Shawn that she wants to “move on” with Heather and get rid of the “uncomfortable energy” between them.
While shopping, Monica opens up about her Mormon upbringing and reveals to Heather the shocking reason she was kicked out of the church: “because she fucked her brother-in-law for 18 months.”
Heather – who also left the Mormon church – was literally brought to her knees when she heard Monica’s reason and asked how she got caught. Although Monica admitted that she eventually told her bishop because she “felt guilty,” she was immediately “shunned from everything and everyone” even though her brother-in-law—whom she clarified was her brother-in-law’s husband—allegedly had no consequences.
“Honestly and truly one of the worst experiences of my life,” Heather said, fighting back tears.

Earlier in the episode, Monica also became vulnerable with her mother and daughter while talking about her insecurities with other women. She said she bought the Louis Vuitton bag before their girls’ trip to Palm Springs because she “wanted to have something nice around [the women].”
“It’s so stupid,” she added of her insecurities, saying, “I don’t want to be made fun of because I have a smaller house.”

As Lisa packed for Palm Springs, she told husband John that she hoped this getaway would be better than their past bachelorette trips, to which she compared The Amityville Horror.
But it wasn’t a good start to the vacation for Lisa, who lost her diamond ring in the women’s restroom at the Palm Springs airport. “Anybody see the ring on the floor? I’m freaking out,” Lisa could be heard yelling in the background of the video recorded on Heather’s phone.
Heather explained that she was hiding in the bathroom stall because Lisa was “totally freaking out”. She whispered, “[Lisa] she came out with her pants down screaming that she’d lost one of her rings.”
After searching the bathroom for “45 minutes,” the ring — which Lisa said was worth $60,000 — was nowhere to be found. Naturally, the women had their say on the situation in the confessionals, with Mary, 50, claiming the jewelery wasn’t worth $60k and Monica joking: “It’s in a pawn shop.”

“I don’t know what could have happened,” Meredith smiled. “We all searched in that nice public restroom.”
Lisa couldn’t let it go either as the Housewives piled into the Sprinter van on the way to the motel, complaining about the lost item and explaining that the emerald-cut bracelet was a “sentimental” gift from her husband.
But the women didn’t know they had bigger problems when they arrived at the motel where Whitney and Angie were patiently waiting for them.
