Lisa Barlow isn’t doubling down on her now-viral reaction to losing her diamond ring at the airport.
During the season 4 reunion The Real Housewives of Salt Lake CityBarlow explained why she was hysterical over losing her expensive emerald-cut ring, after co-star Monica Garcia told how much she hated hearing her repeat its price.
“Lisa had every right to be upset about losing the ring. What I didn’t like was that it was ‘$60k, $60k, $60k,'” Garcia said. (Barlow did the math and later said it cost $58,000.)
“I only said the price three times. For me, everyone processes things differently,” Barlow explained, adding that the loss was “a big deal.”

Barlow explained that it was a gift from her husband John after their son Henry “almost died” after giving birth to him.
“John gave me that ring because I thought, ‘I don’t know if we’re going to be able to have any more kids,'” Barlow said. “It meant more than just the ring I wear on my finger. Every time I look at it, it’s like we have our two beautiful babies [including their son, Jack].’ And it was so hard.”
Garcia defended herself by saying that she did not know the sentimental meaning of the ring. “But it’s nobody’s business,” Barlow countered, recalling that the situation had left her “very stressed.”

“Just because I lost my ring and I’m upset about it, doesn’t mean I’m not tied to the middle class. That doesn’t mean I think I’m part of that 1%. That doesn’t mean I think I’m better than anyone.”
“You are definitely not part of the 1%. You’re right,” Garcia retorted.
The suspicious comment led to a row over allegations that Garcia had stolen Barlow’s treasured item, which the latter has neither confirmed nor denied. (Garcia was also accused of stealing a clutch from the Meredith Marks store elsewhere during the season).

Barlow did not find the ring from the debacle, but has since replaced it with another jewel. “It’s not the same feeling, I don’t think about it the same way. She looks good, but I liked my second one and I want my second one.”
In addition to losing an item close to her heart, Barlow also lost a pretty penny. “Unfortunately, I had two rings that were not insured. So not only was it sentimental, but it was like money laundering,” she said during BravoCon in November.
