Richard Gere and Wife Alejandra Have Glam Date Night at Zurich Film Festival: See Their Looks!

Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva went on a date night at the Zurich Film Festival.

On Tuesday, October 8, the Golden Globe winner (75) and his wife (41) attended The wisdom of happiness green carpet during the 20th Zurich Film Festival at Corso on in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Shall we dance? the actor looked chic in a black suit, white collared shirt and black bow tie. Silva stood next to him for the photos wearing a gorgeous layered sleeveless dress in cream and silver.

Gere is an executive producer for The wisdom of happinessco-directed by the Swiss duo Barbara Miller and Philip Delaquis.

“In this film, the Dalai Lama addresses the audience directly and explains why the 21st century should become the century of compassion. A spiritual teacher manages to win us over and touch our hearts – even those that have been petrified by stress and hard everyday life. A meditative cinematic experience that resonates for a long time – with compelling images and unreleased material from the Tibetan government archives,” reads the synopsis on the Zurich Film Festival website.

Just last month, Gere and Silva had another red carpet date during the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 1st.

After attending the amfAR Gala where he was presented with amfAR’s Inspiration Award earlier in the day, the couple, who married in 2018, changed their look and headed to Wolves premiere on the red carpet.

Although Gere has recently been on the circuit of film festivals, he also celebrated a special milestone — the 25th anniversary Runaway bride.

Although the anniversary took place in June, while speaking at a masterclass at the 81st Venice Film Festival in September, Gere admitted he had “no chemistry” with co-star Julia Roberts when they made their 1990 romantic comedy. A beautiful woman.

“I mean, there’s no chemistry,” he joked, trans The Hollywood Reporter.

The film stars Gere as successful businessman Edward Lewis, who spends the weekend with prostitute Vivian Ward (Roberts) while on a business trip in Los Angeles.

“This actor and this actress obviously had no chemistry between them…” he continued.

“I haven’t seen that in a long time. It’s a sexy scene,” he said, referring to the part of the film where Robert’s character undresses at the piano.

He added that at that time he did not imagine the success that would follow.

“This is a movie, a very small movie with a wonderful director named Garry Marshall,” Gere said. “But we had fun making this little movie. We didn’t know if anyone would ever watch this little movie. No one would ever pay attention to this tiny movie.”

A beautiful woman it ended up bringing in $463.4 million at the box office.

Gere’s next film, Oh, Canadawill be released on December 6.
