Rihanna shines like a diamond!
On Friday, September 6, the Savage X Fenty mogul, 36, was dressed to impress as she hit the front row at the Alaïa show at New York Fashion Week wearing a sparkling designer mesh dress covered in crystals.
Rihanna’s glittery outfit featured draped sleeves and an off-the-shoulder corset top, and she paired the semi-sheer look with a pair of matching stiletto heels for the event, which was held at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
Earlier in the evening, the “Lift Me Up” singer wore a pale pink Alaïa corset-style dress, which featured a thigh-high slit down the middle, as she made a surprise appearance at Daily first row‘s Fashion Media Awards, held at the Rainbow Room.

Rihanna paired the glamorous outfit with a matching baby pink teddy coat, which she took off to give a surprise speech for her friend fashion editor Jahleel Weaver. Weaver was awarded Magazine of the Year at the ceremony Perfect Magazine founder Katie Grand.
Rihanna teamed her second look with nude lace-up heels, revealing her matching corset underneath the semi-sheer ensemble.
During her speech, the musician explained how she was invited to pay tribute “less than 36 hours ago” and that she wrote it in the car “because he’s my friend”.

She said of Weaver, who is her stylist and creative director of Fenty Beauty, “I’m here tonight to present an award to someone who is very special to me,” adding, “Someone who I’ve watched grow and develop over the years, I’ve seen you from fashion baby, in your fashion diapers.”
“I was also in my fashion diapers at the time and it was personal to witness you in all the layers, all the things that people, most people won’t even be able to experience with you,” Rihanna added.
“But you’ve been such a pinnacle of my growth and the fashion side of all things. I’m so proud of you,” the musician told Weaver.

She insisted, “All the things you could have done by yourself with me. I’m not going to cry mother—— like, you know, and now I’m interrupting the speech I wrote.”
“But you’re someone I’ve watched develop into a scientist, an expert, a student and a teacher,” she said, later adding, “I get nervous when I’m… talking in front of hot people.”
“But tonight was worth it,” insisted the mother-of-two, before inviting Weaver and Grand on stage.
