Riley Green Says He Stepped on a Nail While Hunting and 'Impaled' His Foot in Emergency Room Video

Feel better, Riley Green!

The 36-year-old country singer recently stepped on a nail while hunting and ended up in the emergency room, he revealed in a Jan. 6 TikTok video.

“In the emergency room because I stepped on a nail [and] spiked my foot,” Green said in the video, wearing one boot on his uninjured foot as he sat in the emergency room with a friend.

“And when I took my boot off, the corn fell on the floor,” he added with a laugh. “The lady came in here wanting to know where all that corn came from. It’s from my boot. You don’t want me to take this one off either. These are real world problems.”

In a subsequent video posted on Green’s Instagram Stories that has since been shared on social media, his friend asked a nurse when the “Different ‘Round Here” singer could return to hunting, his regular hobby. “Just hit us right now, doc,” the star said.

“Oh, you can go right back to hunting,” said the nurse.

And that’s exactly what Green did—seemingly hours later, as he later shared an Instagram Stories video from a snowy forest on Jan. 6. “Maybe there’s something wrong with me right now,” he captioned the clip.

Green then shared another snap from the hunt, this time showing off his feet while walking in boots, noting that it was “16 degrees” outside. “What sore foot?” he wrote.

The “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” musician is an avid hunter, and regularly shares photos of his game on social media.

“First buck from my new farm in Kansas and it was good. It took me many hours to sit in the onion tree but it finally got away. Damn, I love it here,” he said on Instagram last month.

Green is currently gearing up for his Damn Country Music Tour with Ella Langley, which kicks off on March 27th with a Canadian leg before moving to the United States on April 10th.

The tour will make stops in cities including Cincinnati, Baltimore, Milwaukee, Chicago, New York, Boston and more through the end of August before heading to Europe through September 19th.
