Ringo Starr Says Childhood Tuberculosis Hospitalization Kept Him 'In Bed for Months,' but Ultimately Changed His Life (Exclusive)

Ringo Starr knows the exact moment that drumming is what he wanted to devote his life to, but that came at a time of huge personal quarrel.

Starr, 84, speaks to people while discovering his new exhibition “Beats & Threads” at The Musics Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville on Wednesday, February 19, that he first discovered the world of hunches – and knitting – while recovering while he was recovering recovered from tuberculosis in the English sanatorium.

Ringo Starr will make music only in this condition
