Riot bin ladies jailed for nearly five years in total as mum fell flat on her face and woman who ran at cops locked up

A PAIR of thugs who tried to ram policemen with buckets have been sentenced to almost FIVE years in prison.

Mum-of-five Stacey Vint, 34, was caught on video charging at a convoy of officers with a burning bin in Middlesbrough on Sunday before comically toppling over.

In a separate incident last Friday, former flight attendant Leanne Hodgson, 43, was seen pushing industrial bins at officers in Sunderland.

A large crowd cheered as Hodgson tried to push the bucket into the police line.

But she remained funny after the officers calmly moved away from the overturned bin.

She also called one police officer a “***** black bitch” during the disturbance, the court heard.

Earlier this week, Hodgson pleaded guilty to violent disorder at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court.

Vint, of Normandy Road, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and possession of cannabis – which was found on her after she was arrested near Linthorpe Road in the town.

Vint was sentenced to 20 months at Teesside Crown Court on Friday and Hodgson to two-and-a-half years.

Officers kicked down Hodgson’s front door last Saturday before dragging her out in her underwear.

Footage released by Northumbria Police shows officers kicking in a glass door at an address in Sunderland.

The moment your idiot kicks the bucket to smash the emergency cops who calmly move out of the way because she’s been found guilty of “violent” mayhem

A policewoman can be seen banging on the door and shouting: “Police, open the door!” while her colleagues climb the garden fence.

The female officer then says to the other officer, “Someone’s in there, can you open the door?”

The officer then boots the glass panel before the officers enter the end terrace property.

A few minutes later, Hodgson is led out in handcuffs while still wearing a pink and black lacy nightgown.

Hogdson denied taking part in the original march – but claimed she was out drinking and got involved when the pub closed.

The court was told that Hodgson was “very drunk and angry” during the disturbance.

Hodgson had a “long-standing problem with alcohol”, the court was told.

District Judge Zoe Passfield said Hodgson had decided to join the rebellion.

Passfield added: “It was massive mob violence that resulted in public fear and damage to local businesses.”

However, Annalisa Moscardini, defending Hodgson, said the term “black ho*c”, which Hodgson called the officer, referred to his uniform and was not racist.

In the first magistrates’ court hearing, prosecutor John Garside said she was “seen with another man pushing a bin whose contents were on fire”.

Mr Garside said Vint could be seen dragging the bucket towards a line of officers before it fell to the ground.

The video then shows Vint sitting on the ground before she is caught by the officers.

District Judge Maria Mallon, adjourning the case for sentencing at Teesside Crown Court earlier this week, told the defendant: “Mrs Vint, you pleaded guilty at the first opportunity to these offences.

“The violent disorder is so serious that this court’s sentencing powers are insufficient.”

It comes as courts across the country continue to work around the clock and those responsible for the mass riots face swift justice.

And with around 100 areas earmarked by militant groups for demonstrations on Wednesday – Britons together flooded the streets with banners in support of refugees and migrants.

But with more anti-immigrant rallies scheduled over the weekend and in the coming days, the mobilization of police forces continues.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer told forces to remain on “high alert”.
