dispute
- After auditioning for the film The Mortal Instruments, Robert Sheehan had an unpleasant experience with the flight attendant on his flight back to the United States from Toronto. Robert, along with fellow auditioners and honeymooners, were extremely drunk during the flight. In an interview, he said:
We ordered some Caesar cocktails, which were kind of like Bloody Marys, and then I got a bottle of whiskey.”
The next thing he remembers is the flight attendants lashing out at him, threatening to report Robert and his companions for being drunk on the plane. The crew confiscated the whiskey bottle during the flight. A few weeks later, when Robert took out the whiskey bottle to celebrate his successful role in the movie “The Mortal Objects,” he found that it had been stained with salt by the crew.

In an interview, when asked, “Have you ever had sex with someone who came up to you and said, ‘Hi, I’m a fan of yours?'” Sheehan replied, “Of course! Yes, I have.” This is a contradictory statement because previously, the charming Irish actor disagreed with the idea in an interview, saying,
I would never have sex with a fan”… “If you sleep with this person, it’s exploitation and you’re somehow taking advantage of the fact that they’re praising you to the skies.”
- In an interview with Hot Press, Robert Sheehan tells how cannabis can cause psychosis and paranoia (mental disorders). Apparently, some Chinese men living illegally in Ireland are growing cannabis and not using proper fertilizers, which results in high concentrations of THC in the cannabis (THC is the main psychoactive compound that produces a high). So, to solve this problem, Sheehan suggests that the government should control it.
“Marijuana is really bad in Ireland. It’s dangerous… so it should be legal. It’s a shame the government hasn’t legalized it.”
