Profession
Under 19 Kabaddi
While studying, Rohit decided to pursue kabaddi as a profession. According to him, the nearest sports club to his home, Mahadev Club, is 15 kilometers away, and he goes there every day to hone his skills and train under the guidance of Arjun Tetrewal; however, in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The club closed so Rohit started practicing Kabaddi at Chaugan Stadium and trained there for 3 years before participating in Under-19 Kabaddi Championships at school and district level. In a school tournament, he was selected for the state kabaddi team and later for the national junior kabaddi team.
Yuva Kabaddi Series
In July 2023, Rohit Yadav represented the Periyar Panthers in the 2023 summer edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series. During his time in the competition, he won many honors including Best Raider of the Match and Kabaddi Ka Kamaal of the Match. He played in 17 games and scored 145 points. Rohit Yadav scored 10 Super Raids throughout the tournament and was awarded the Yuva Kabaddi Series Summer Edition 2023 Super Raid Specialist.
In August 2023, Rohit Yadav became the first player to be selected by Aravalli Arrows for the 2023 Monsoon Edition of Yuva Kabaddi Series. He won the title of ‘All-round Power Raider’ in the 2023 Monsoon Edition Yuva Kabaddi Series. Rohit’s team Aravalli Arrows won the match.
Professional Kabaddi League
In October 2023, Rohit Yadav was inducted by the U Mumba D-level team to compete in the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League for a fee of Rs. Nine hundred thousand.
