Roshan Prince was born Rajiv Kaplish on September 12, 1981 (age 38; as of 2018) in Bangar, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Virgo.

He completed his schooling from Sutlej Public School in Banga and then went to Amardeep Singh Shergill Memorial College in Mukandpur village for his graduation. Thereafter, he completed his Masters in Music (Voice) from Delhi University’s School of Music and Fine Arts and then received his Sangeet Shiromani Diploma from Delhi University. He received musical training from Professor Shamshad Ali. After completing his diploma, Prince entered Tejwan Kittu Music College to learn the details of music. In 2006, he participated in the singing reality show “Awaaz Punjab Di” and won the championship.

Roshan Prince started his singing career in 2006 with the album “Aawaz Punjab Di”. Next, he released his duet album “Prince n Pooja live” with Miss Pooja. In 2012, he gained huge popularity with the song “Look/Lak”. He subsequently released many hit Punjabi songs including “Mr Pendu”, “Dist”. “Sangrur”, “Tera Yaar Bolda”, “Ik Hor Mr Pendu”, “Dil Darda”, “Bas Tu” and “Guzarishaan”.
