ROYAL Variety host Bradley Walsh gave some viewers the chills last night when he got down on his knees and begged Prince William for a knighthood.
The Princess of Wales laughed it off and many of Bradley’s fans said he “had a point” when he said he had been snubbed for years.

Addressing Prince William, he said: “Your Royal Highness, I worked for your grandmother, your great-grandmother, your father, your grandfather, your great-grandfather and now you.
“And I have to say – ask me if I have an MBE. No, I don’t.
“Ask me if I have OBE – no, I don’t have either of them. Ask me if I have CBE – no!
“No. Not the sausage. I’m not even a member of the RAC anymore.”
The TV legend, 63, gave a long list of his services to comedy on stage at the Royal Albert Hall and said he “entertained the troops in the Falklands” and was “lucky to be alive”.
And he continued to make his case by hitting out at fellow TV stars.
He said, “Guess who they give them to? To the people on TV who bake cookies.”
Some found it painful to watch his impassioned speech, so they took to social media to try it out.
One said: “I love Bradley Walsh but he’s dying of pain here.”
Another fumed: “I hope @BradleyWalsh’s whole act isn’t about asking for a knighthood, yes I know he’s partly joking but I still wish we could go back to not talking to the royal family in your act.”
While another viewer said the skit was “extremely embarrassing”, a fourth said: “What #bradleywalsh is going on with the pleas for both cbes etc etc is embarrassing.”
Another viewer added: “Very disappointed in @RoyalVariety tonight, not great and #bradleywalsh was a total creep begging for honours, how embarrassing. You have to be deserving and not just overexposed on TV. Poor William and Kate.” “
Another said: “Someone should have approved his opening ‘speech’ God what an awkward opening – Bradley Walsh’s ‘Sir’.”
Earlier, Bradley introduced “The Royal Highnesses” and pretended to stumble as he spoke.
He said, “Doesn’t sound right, Your Royal Highnesses? There are too many ‘ssesses’. Your Royal Highnesses… your Royal Highnesses?
“It should be like cactus, cactus, cactus. Your royal highness, highness and highni. That’s it. I have it. Your royal highni.”
