Rupanjana Mitra started her acting career with the Bengali TV series Chokher Bali in 2000. She then appeared in Bengali TV series Tumi Asbe Bole, Checkmate, Sindoorkhela, Aanchol and Behula.
She then played the role of ‘Sandhya’ in the Hindi television serial Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki.
Rupanjana made her film debut with the Bengali film Dadar Adesh in 2005. Some of her popular Bengali films include Premer Phande Kakatua, Magno Mainak, Katakuti and Black Panther.
She has also acted in the web series ‘Bou Keno Psycho’ and ‘Dhanbad Blues.’ Apart from acting, she has also hosted many game shows like ‘Shoshur Bari Bonam Baper Bari’, ‘Utsaber Shera Paribar’ and ‘Nacho To Dekhi’.
