RuPaul's Drag Race Live! Celebrates 1000th Vegas Show, Creators Say It's 'More Important Now Than Ever' (Exclusive)

Rupaul’s Drago Race Live! He just celebrated his 1,000. Performance, and five years in Las Vegas Revue is more important and now needs more than ever, according to his creators.

People caught with the co -founders of World of Wonder and Rupaul’s Drag Race Executive producers Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey on the eve of the turning point in Flaming on Saturday, March 15, to think about their past, present and future.

“We are super excited and grateful,” Barbato said of the turning point. “I think we are grateful for all the actors who have been in it over the years. We started before Coid, so it was quite difficult to nurture a hit on the Vegas comic book, but we’re here!”

“If you can do it in Vegas, that’s a good sign,” Bailey added.

Saturday’s show included performances from the current acting line -up – Ginger Minj, Asia O’Hara, Jaid Essence Hall, Mophina Dion Love and Jane, along with the muscle pit crew – and with a special message to Rupaul himself.

“This is an incredible feat and we are so proud of this show,” Rupaul told the audience. “This was the dream of all our years. It’s such a legendary stage. It’s such an honor that you are all here because you are our secret weapon. Continue to return year after year, and for that, I thank you.”

As for the future of the show, Barbato and Bailey say anything is possible, including a potential other show and spread on Broadway.

“We have so many talented queens we can’t wait to go on stage. We may need two dear races and two different actors in two different places,” Barbato teased.

The legendary Vegas women’s impersonator has summed up the best. “I have lived and performed in Vegas for 40 years. Seeing that the art of withdrawal is actually so main that they have 1,000 emissions, it’s simply amazing.”
