On Saturday, his former co-host Holly Willoughby took to Instagram with a scathing statement and on Sunday, Ruth Langsford, who was a regular guest on the ITV show, returned to Instagram. .

Instead, Ruth posted an Instagram Story showing how she had spent the day relaxing, posting a photo of a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and bacon, accompanied by a cup of tea.

The star also defended himself and his wife Ruth Langsford when one Twitter user commented that he was a “hypocrite”, after he showed support for Phillip during his live broadcast.
