Reynolds has tattoos on both his wrist and right leg. The actor has a cannon tattoo on the side of his left wrist. The cannon, known as the Nine O’clock Gun, is located in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada, and is fired every day at 9 p.m.
Another tattoo on the 44-year-old actor’s left wrist has a deep meaning. His second tattoo, ‘Know Thyself’, is inscribed on the inside of his wrist. Reynolds had it done to help him stay grounded and remember who he was when the cameras were off.

Johnson’s tattoos are original, but Reynolds’s are not. Reynolds joked in his post that he was disappointed to learn this. The banter between the two stars continued, with Johnson commenting on the post. He joked that Reynolds would look cool and sexy if he lifted his shirt to reveal the tattoo, but that wasn’t the case for him.
Reynolds despises his tattoos
The actor revealed in an interview with The New Yorker that he despises all his tattoos. During the interview, he hid his ‘Know Thyself’ tattoo on the inside of his left wrist. Referring to a tattoo of a six-heart card on his leg, he admitted that such tattoos make sense in films such as Mississippi Grind, a gambling film.
