“The idea behind The Make-Believers it’s so important to us because it was inspired by our own childhoods growing up outside of Atlanta,” the siblings say. “We both wondered what life was like outside our everyday surroundings and discovered from an early age that our imaginations doubled as tools for big dreams and far-flung journeys.”
In their new book, the brothers and sisters will encourage children to dream big. “We used our imagination to imagine an unusual life, like those we have seen in movies and on television or in magazines and books,” they add.

The Make-Believers is not the first project the Seacrest siblings have worked on together. In 2009, the family founded the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, a nonprofit organization that installs broadcast media centers called Seacrest Studios in pediatric hospitals across the country.
Seacrest Leach is currently the foundation’s CEO and COO, and Seacrest is the president. In addition to continuing to work on television, Seacrest should also take on the role of a new host Wheel of Fortune after the retirement of Pat Sajak.
