Sabah Galadari married Adnan Sami in 2001 and divorced in 2003. This is her second marriage and Adnan’s second marriage. Galadari remarried Adnan Sami in 2008 and after living together for a year, she filed for divorce from him in 2009, accusing him of harassment and abuse. However, Adnan Sami claimed that she was not his wife because she did not complete the mandatory formalities under Islamic marriage laws before remarrying to the same person. In an interview, he spoke about this and said:
According to Islamic marriage laws, technically she is not my wife at all. Even if she was, my religion would allow me to have three wives. “
In 2012, the court finally divorced the couple under the Dissolution of Muslim Marriages Act 1939. She gave birth to a son named Abdullah from her first marriage.

In 2014, the Bombay High Court ordered Adnan Sammy to vacate his duplex at Oberoi Sky Garden in Lokhandwala, Mumbai, where he was living with his third wife. The court asked him to hand over the apartment and alimony of Rs 624 crore to his ex-wife Sabah Galadari. Sabah claimed that Adnan’s duplex was composed of five units on the 13th and 14th floors of the building, two of which he gifted to her in 2009. Sabah filed a lawsuit against Adnan for appropriation of her gift deed; however, he denied her claims. Adnan later agreed to buy her two apartments on the 12th floor of the same building.
Smuggling and fraud cases
Adnan Sami revealed in an interview that he had filed a complaint against Sabah with the Mumbai Police Commissioner, claiming that she and her family hid their Portuguese nationality from the Dubai government, which is considered an illegal activity there. He claimed that she had two passports with different dates of birth and that she obtained a pan-card and driving license in India with these passports. He added that Sabah Galadari and her father were engaged in smuggling business in Dubai.

- Adnan Sami’s brother Junaid Sami claimed in an interview that Adnan Sami recorded some videos against his second wife and showed them in court. He said,
This makes me sick. Even if it were my girlfriend, I wouldn’t do that! Adnan Sami made an ap*rn DVD of his second wife Sabah Galadaeri around 2007 or 2008. Well…kinky things can happen between husbands and wives…but keep it a secret! Adnan Sammy lied in court – for all of India to see – and said he didn’t make it, while Sabah’s lover did! It’s all a lie! I was told that Sabah fainted in court. “
