Sabrina Carpenter celebrates her 25th birthday with a sweet comeback!

On Saturday, May 11, the “Feather” singer shared an Instagram post with some adorable childhood photos to mark the special occasion.

In one photo, a younger Carpenter, wearing an Ohio State University red shirt, can be seen shrugging her shoulders and raising her arms as she grins at someone behind the camera. Another photo, which appears to be a headshot from the earliest days of her acting career, shows the singer as a young girl, placing her hand on her hip in a sassy pose as she smiles at the camera while wearing a sparkly purple outfit.

The last photo shows Carpenter as a baby, with her palm holding a pacifier in her mouth.

“It’s my birthday,” she wrote in the caption, playing the lyrics to her new chart-topping single “Espresso.”

Carpenter also showed off her birthday cake on her Instagram Stories, sharing a photo of the white frosted confection, which was topped with cookie dough, sprinkles and a caption that read, “Is 24 that sweet? I guess!”

The cake’s message is also a nod to “Espresso,” which has the lyrics: “Is it that sweet? I guess it is!”

A host of celebrities took to the comments section of the Eras Tour kick-off post to wish her a happy 25th birthday, including her boyfriend, Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan, who left the “🥹” and “x” emojis, meant to symbolize a kiss.

Carpenter’s sister Sarah also addressed the lyrics to “Espresso” in her comment, writing, “you’re partying late because it’s your BIRTHDAY.” (The lyrics of the song are: “I work late because I’m a singer.”)

Little Mermaid Star Chloe Bailey also chimed in, writing simply, “Happy birthday love,” accompanied by a heart emoji.

Danielle Fishel, A boy meets the world alum who starred opposite Carpenter in the reboot A girl meets the world on the Disney Channel, she also wished her former co-star a happy birthday. “Happy birthday to my forever bb girl!! I love you more than you will ever know. ❤️❤️ See you soooooon!!” wrote Fishel.

In a video shot by the magazine, both Carpenter and Keoghan’s jaws dropped when they saw each other. The couple then embraced and gave a quick kiss on the cheek before heading into the gala evening.

A few weeks prior, Carpenter made her debut as a performer at Coachella, performing several of her hits, including 2022’s “Nonsense” and “Espresso” — currently at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 chart — on the Coachella main stage. .
