A nanny named…Sabrina?
Sabrina Carpenter pays tribute to the iconic character of Fran Fine from Fran Drescher’s sitcom. On Tuesday, December 10, the singer, 25, was spotted in New York in a leopard-print outfit very similar to the one worn by Drescher, 67, in Nanny.
The Grammy nominee stepped out in a black miniskirt with a leopard print collar and a matching beret. She accessorized with a small boxy bag with gold hardware and high black pumps. In keeping with her glamorous style, Carpenter wore her blonde hair in flowing waves. Her makeup look featured blush cheeks and glossy purple lips.

The look is an almost perfect replica of Drescher’s outfit seen in the pilot episode Nanny as well as promotional photos. The series, which ran from 1993 to 1999, starred Drescher as a makeup saleswoman who is hired to babysit the three children of a widowed Broadway producer.
Along with her outspoken and no-nonsense personality (and nasal voice), Fran Fine’s character has become synonymous with her extraordinary sense of style.
