Sabrina Carpenter is saying goodbye to the Eras Tour.
On Saturday, the 24-year-old “Nonsense” singer shared an Instagram post showing some of the final photos from her performance as the opening act on Taylor Swift’s record-breaking world tour. One photo shows Carpenter and Swift, 34, visiting Sydney Zoo in Australia together. They could be seen walking side by side as they took in the sights.
Other footage captured Carpenter performing on stage and cheering on his team as they prepared backstage.
“It’s the end for us on the eras tour :’),” Carpenter began her lengthy caption. “I’m sitting at home thinking about what a whirlwind this has been and how honored I feel to have been a part of it. I want to thank everyone in the audience for being so welcoming and generous to us and making some of the most impressive friendship bracelets I’ve ever received. .”

“Also a big thank you to the amazing crew for being so hardworking and talented,” she continued. “And the most I ever thanked would be Taylor.”
She concluded her post with a heartfelt message for Swift herself.
“I feel so blessed to witness the magic that is you and this tour,” she wrote to the 14-time Grammy winner. “Truly there is no one like you and there never will be! I love you with all my heart and will cherish this era of taybra (and all eras) until the end of time 💞💞💞.”
Swift first revealed that the Disney Channel alum will join her as an opening act on her Eras tour in June 2023. Carpenter was announced as the opening act for her international dates in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, with Australia and Singapore later added.
Since then, the two singers seemed even closer because they were on tour together. Earlier this month, after Carpenter canceled her opening act due to inclement weather delaying one of their shows in Sydney, Swift and Carpenter sang a duet of Swift’s “White Horse” and “Coney Island” to excited fans at Accor Stadium, while leaned on each other and swayed to the music.

I love you so much, Taylor. I always have, always will,” she wrote.

In the same March 1 Instagram post, Carpenter nodded to her longtime love of Swift’s music as she shared an old Facebook photo from her page from 2009 that read: “I was trying to enter the Taylor Swift contest to win tickets and a chance to but they said I have to be 13.”
