Sabrina Carpenter wants to set the record straight about her live performances.
25-year-old pop star, who kicked her out Short and sweet tour late last month, is the latest artist to face accusations of lip syncing.
Recently, a TikTok user commented on another person’s post asking about their concert experience and whether Carpenter was really singing live, according to Pop Base.

The user responded with some close-up shots from the concert with the caption: “I don’t want to say it but 30% lip singing 30% backing track 40% singing.”
Carpenter wasted no time responding to the rumors.
“I sing live at every performance 100%”, wrote the “Espresa” singer. “Do you want to talk to my audio engineers?”

The user then responded and took Carpenter up on her offer: “I would tell them to lower the background sound because it’s too loud.”
The A girl meets the world the alum is no stranger to speaking his mind.
In light of the indictment against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, which allegedly involved a hookup with Brooklyn priest Jamie Gigantiello who was demoted at the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in November 2023 after Carpenter filmed a risque music video for her song “Feather” at the church, the “Nonsense” hitmaker dipped her toe into the discourse during her Sunday, September 29 concert in New York City.
“What should we talk about…how did I get the indictment against the mayor?” she joked from the stage at Madison Square Garden.
While it has not been confirmed whether the pop star is directly connected to the bomb indictment, Carpenter fell out with the church after filming a horror-inspired visual that featured A tall girl star goes on a killing spree at the monsignor’s church in Williamsburg (Carpenter said her team had permission to film).

However, defense attorney Arthur Aidala said New York Post that Gigantiello “is not the target of any federal, state or city investigation.”
Adams pleaded not guilty in court on Sept. 27 to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, bribery in a federal program, receiving campaign contributions from foreign nationals, bribery, wire fraud and solicitation of contributions from a foreign national.
