After many years of courting, Sachin wed Juhi in a palace in Jaipur on February 15, 2009. They had a daughter name Samaira Shroff who was born on January 27, 2013. They got divorced after some time. There was a relationship before as a boyfriend and girlfriend and after the couple got married and then also got divorced.
On February 15, 2009, Sachin Shroff and Juhi Parmar exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony at a palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The couple welcomed a baby daughter, whom they have named Samaira, on January 27, 2013. However, Juhi announced her divorce after nine years of cohabitation, putting an end to all rumours of a problematic union. She was granted custody of her daughter as well. The main issue in their relationship, according to Sachin, was that Juhi never truly loved him. It was all in vain despite his best efforts to win her over to him. “The divorce happened with mutual consent, amicably and in a dignified manner. Unfortunately, and by Juhi’s own public admission, she was never in love with me. One-sided relationships are doomed from the beginning. It’s said, ‘It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all’. But the fact is that it hurts to have been in a loveless marriage. Nothing I did could make Juhi love me.”
Juhi’s Words
“I knew Sachin before our marriage but there was no courtship period as such. He expressed his feelings and we got married immediately after that. I was not fully convinced personally but his love was the biggest driving force. I thought that I will fall in love with him but I still don’t know if I can label it as a love marriage.”
