In 2015, with the fifth season of the Kabaddi League coming, Sachin Tanwar made his debut in the Kabaddi League with the Gujarat Fortune Giants. He was just eighteen years old when he made his professional kabaddi debut. His first match was against Darbang Delhi. Sachin became the 10th most successful raider in Pro Kabaddi Season 5 with 159 raid points. He was acquired by Gautam Adani, the owner of the Gujarat team, for Rs 36 lakh, making him the team’s most expensive driver. He ended the season with 7 super 10s and 2 super raids at a strike rate of 53.89%. Sachin Tanwar also won the Best Newcomer of the Season award.
In 2016, in his second season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Sachin Tanwar scored during the fourth match of the sixth season in Patna against Haryana Steelers Scored his first Super10 goal. By the end of his second season, he had seven Super 10 points and was among the top 10 raid scorers.
