Sai Chand (1984-2023) was an Indian folk singer and politician. He was the Chairman of Telangana State Warehouse Corporation. He died of cardiac arrest on June 29, 2023, in Nagarkurnool district of Telangana.

One of his memorable performances was at the opening of Martyr Jyoti. In 2017, he created a YouTube channel called ‘Saichand Songs’ where he shared videos of his songs like ‘Jeena Haito Marna Seekho’, ‘Gulaabiveerudo’, ‘Amma Paata’ and ‘Rathibommalona’.
His channel has around 35 videos and 20,500 subscribers.

On September 6, 2003, he joined the Indian political party “Telangana Rastra Samithi” (TRS), now known as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi.
He also played a role in the formation movement of Telangana. In the second phase of the Telangana movement, he used songs and dances to inspire people and cultivate the formation of the Telangana spirit. After the formation of the state, he actively worked to create awareness about government development and welfare programs. In December 2021, Sai Chand was appointed as the Chairman of Telangana State Warehouse Corporation. In 2023, his name was nominated as the candidate for Member of Legislative Council (MLC) for Mahbubnagar local authority constituency. But later, his name was removed from the list of candidates.

He died of cardiac arrest on June 29, 2023. A day before his death, Sai along with his family visited his farmhouse in Karukonda in Telangana Nagarkurnool district. Late in the night, he started experiencing chest pain and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Nagakunoor. He was later shifted to the Nursing Hospital in Hyderabad where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed condolences on his death. Rao stressed that Sai played an important role in the cultural movement during the Telangana statehood movement and his contribution was priceless. Rao also mentioned that Sai’s performance was an integral part of his public meetings, which were never done without his participation.
