Saima spoke about her experience of working in Pakistani TV series in an interview and revealed that the work culture on the set seemed very mechanical to her as the director was always in a hurry to complete the shoot. Saima has not worked in any other Pakistani TV show since her first show, she said,
I used to go to the sets to see how TV series were shot, but I couldn’t understand how a sensitive artist like me could perform in such a mechanical environment. There was no time to prepare for the character or feel for the character. ”

I belong to a very spiritual Baloch family and when I wanted to enter the media, I obviously faced restrictions because in our family, not leaving home was the norm. So, I talk to them, I’m not going to forget my roots and my connection to Allah; I just want to follow my own path. ”
