As for Jon, the reporter explained in a statement released Sunday night that he will be taking a “long term vacation” to spend time with his family, but will be back on the couch in two weeks. .

Other fans said it was “disgraceful” that Jon had to explain his absence from the news show, referring to the suspension of an unnamed BBC presenter who allegedly paid thousands of pounds for a teenager to have pornographic pictures.
