It seems that Sam Asghari rang in the new year with a new love.
Eight months after finalizing his divorce from Britney Spears, the actor and model, 30, shared a few photos with his rumored girlfriend Brooke Irvine on January 1.
“Happy New Year everyone 🫶,” he captioned the Instagram post.
The post features photos of Asgari getting close to the estate agent in a tropical setting – including lying together on a palm tree, as well as wrapping their arms around each other. In another picture, Asghari looks at Irvine and holds her up in a mirror selfie.

Asghari also posted an Instagram Story smiling hugging Irvine, captioning it: “Happy New Year everyone.”
Asghari and Irvine were first linked in November and have been spotted out and about around LA at a dog park, Home Goods and on the way to LAX.

The reported relationship comes after Asghari finalized his divorce from ex-wife Spears in early May, following their split after one year of marriage in July 2023. Asghari and Spears began dating after meeting on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016; they were declared legally single in December, on Spears’ 43rd birthday.
In November, the fitness model opened up to PEOPLE about starting a new chapter following the couple’s split.

Asked how he adjusted to his new life after marriage, he explained: “It’s a bed you make yourself and you have to learn to lie in it, so it’s part of the way of life.”
“You just have to be positive,” he added. “You have to stay grounded and understand what the truth is and really just live with it, not other people’s opinions or anything like that.”

At the time, Asghari told PEOPLE that he was “absolutely” able to move on, adding that he was busy with several projects. and with acting, it’s what follows and all the work you put in,” Asghari, who joins the cast Traitors season 3, split. “So I’ve done a few projects and I’m very excited to announce it.”

Asghari also addressed his marriage to Spears in an interview with PEOPLE in March.
“It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people break up and people move on,” he said and added that he harbors no ill will towards his ex.
“I’ve always hated people who leave a certain relationship — and at some point they told each other they loved each other and sat at the same table eating food [together] — so I never understood when people split up [and] they talk bad about each other,” he said. “It’s something I’ll never do because I’ve just had an amazing experience and a great life, and it’s always going to be a part of my life, a chapter of my life.”
