Samar has been passionate about singing since he was a child and started covering music events in small cities. He made his debut with the Bhojpuri song “Ganna Ke Ras” (2015).
In 2002, he recorded his first Bhojpuri Holi song “E Gol Gol Ka Ha”; however, the song did not prove to be a success. In 2015, he recorded his second Bhojpuri song “Ganna Ke Ras”, which became extremely popular and has been viewed more than 86 million times on YouTube. In 2016, his song “Ratiya Kaha Bitawala Na” earned him the needed fame. Attacked for posting about Akanksha Dubey
After the death of Akanksha Dubey, the famous Bhojpuri actress and Samal’s girlfriend, on March 26, 2023, Samar’s phone was switched off for a few hours. Eventually, he posted a “RIP” status for her on Instagram with the caption “Nishabd.” He was trolled by the public, who accused him of being one of the reasons for the actress’ suicide.

Akanksha’s mother Madhu Dubey also blamed him for Akanksha’s suicide. According to Madhu, Samar and his brother Sanjay Singh tortured her and even threatened to kill her. He was arrested on April 7, 2023, in Ghaziabad.
