As for the Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G, there is no 4G model this time, but buyers can buy a Wi-Fi version if they want. Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Book 2 Go with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 chipset, which was announced over a year ago but has only just launched on the device. This chip replaces the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 chip in the 4G version and the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 chip in the 5G version.

The new laptop retains the same 14-inch FHD TFT screen size of the previous generation, but it is unclear if the display panel will be the same. Samsung says the display weighs 1.44kg (3.17lbs) and is 15.5mm thick in a compact body. In addition, the Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G has also passed the high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock and other tests of MIL-STD-810H. Samsung has paired the chipset with 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for extra storage.
The Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G has a physical SIM slot and an eSIM slot for connecting to 5G networks. However, only one SIM can be active at a time (single standby). Also, it only supports sub-6GHz networks. It also has Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, two USB-C ports, a USB-A 2.0 port, and a combo mic/headphone jack. It has a 42.3Wh battery and comes with a 45W power adapter.
