In August 2003, Sanket Upadhyay joined the Hindustan Times as a staff writer and served until August 2005. Thereafter, he started working as a reporter at NDTV, where he worked till October 2007. He subsequently joined NewsX in Delhi in October. Since 2007, he has served as the chief reporter of the news channel. Sanket Upadhyay worked at NewsX until March 2008. In March 2008, he started serving as Chief Correspondent for Headlines Today, TV Today and Aaj Tak and held the position till July 2008. He subsequently joined TIMES NOW Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd.
