Sarah Beeny, an English TV personality, has said that she is fighting breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. In an interview with The Telegraph on August 29, the 50-year-old said she had a “little breakdown” after learning of her diagnosis. However, she said:
“I’m happy to live in a family where we all talk.”
The television station claimed that she underwent her first round of chemotherapy last week and will undergo radiation and surgery later this year. She also mentioned “being one step ahead of the disease.” The TV star also revealed that she cut her hair with the help of her family and donated it to a charity that gives free wigs to children with cancer. Beeny said she had always expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer and had “waited 40 years to hear those words”. She lost her mother Ann to the same disease when she was 10, while her mother was 39.
