A couple, whose characters dated from time to time Sex and the city day, they seemed to be back on — smiling and laughing as cameras and crew members surrounded them.

When fans last saw the two of them on the show, Bradshaw and Shaw had decided to move into a new home together in New York after Aidan’s divorce.
However, before they could start their relationship, Shaw had to leave town for at least five years to support his youngest son, Wyatt, who was struggling with a lack of a father.

The season two finale ended with him and Bradshaw having a romantic night before Shaw left with his family.
News of the series being renewed for a third season was announced shortly before the final episode.
Corbett’s character was known to fans as Bradshaw’s second love following the death of her husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth), in season one AJLT.

In June, Parker told PEOPLE what it was like working with Corbett again.
“It’s great to be in there [John’s] company again,” she told PEOPLE exclusively. “I’ve been pretty public about how much I love him and how easy he is to work with, how skilled he is at what he does. He makes it look easy, but it’s real work.”
“He always just makes Aidan grow off the page in a way that only he can,” she added. “I felt really comfortable and happy.”

Writer-director Michael Patrick King also spoke with PEOPLE about reclaiming his former passion.
“I just know it’s important [Parker]. It’s also important to the audience because they have feelings for Aidan. And it’s exciting from a writer’s point of view, because there was half the audience [for] Aidan, half the crowd was Team Big,” he said.
Earlier this month, Parker updated fans about the third season AJLT was on the way.

Parker’s SATC costars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, known to fans as Charlotte and Miranda, were tagged in the post. The Hocus pocus star also included AJLT… upstarts like Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhury and Katerina Tannenbaum.
