She first met Manoj Sane in 2008 at a ration shop in Babhai Naka area of Borivali. They started living together in Wing G of Geeta Akash Deep Building, Phase 7, Geeta Nagar, Mira Bhayandar Road, Mumbai in 2015, and five years later, in 2020. They then moved to Apartment No. 704, J Wing, in the same building. Neighbors thought they were husband and wife, however, no evidence of their marriage was found.

She was allegedly murdered on June 4, 2023, in the apartment of her live-in partner Manoj Sane. Manoj chopped her body into pieces similar to Shraddha Walker’s case and tried to dispose of it, but the police received a complaint and discovered her decomposing body. Her body was cut into pieces with a tile cutter and a chainsaw and cooked in a pressure cooker. Police suspect it may have been a case of domestic violence that turned into murder. During the investigation, Manoj stated that she committed suicide by taking poison on June 3, 2023. Her body parts were sent to Mumbai’s JJ Hospital for forensic analysis.
