Sarfaraz Khan was born on 22 April 1976 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (47 years old; as of 2023). Sarfaraz obtained a diploma in hotel management. He is known for his supporting roles in Tere Naam and Wanted starring Salman Khan. He has also directed plays such as “Local Train”, “Badi Der Ki Meherbaan Aate Aate” and “Best of Luck”. Sarfaraz has also acted in Hindi and Gujarati dramas such as Taash Ke Patte, Saubhagyawati and Raja The To Bhare Kari. Apart from being a theater artist and actor, Khan is also a producer. Additionally, he assisted his father Kader Khan in theater performances.

Sarfaraz was born into an Islamic family (Sunni Muslims) of the late Qadeer Khan and Hajira Khan. His father is a famous Bollywood actor, comedian, director and dialogue writer. His mother made a film called Shama with Kader Khan in 1981 and is currently a housewife. He has two brothers, Kudroos Khan (Toronto Airport Security Inspector) and Shahnawaz Khan (Actor).
Sarfaraz is married to Shahista Khan. The couple has a son, Hamzaa Khan, and a daughter, Saima.

Sarfaraz made his Bollywood debut as a child artist and played the role of young Kader Khan in the 1994 film Shatranj. Later, in 2002, he played a supporting role in the Hindi film Kya Yahi Pyaar Hain. Sarfaraz received critical acclaim for his role as ‘Aslam’ in Salman Khan-starrer ‘Tere Naam’.
