Saturday Night Takeaway’s Little Ant and Dec are all grown up – see what they look like

Ant and Dec recently confirmed that a brand new series of Saturday Night Takeaway will be coming to ITV next year for its 20th series – much to the delight of fans.

But it’s bittersweet as the upcoming series will be the last of its kind for a while after the beloved hosting duo announced they would be taking a break from the show.

However, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have promised to “go out with a bang” for the final series and meanwhile it has been revealed they are even on the lookout for a new ‘Little Ant and Dec’.

Remember the original mini duo? The adorable couple have appeared on the Saturday night show several times during previous series. Since 2013, it has been Neil Overend and Haydn Reid who have been entertaining viewers as a cute double act, but before that James Pallister and Dylan McKenna portrayed Ant and Dec as little doppelgängers.

The original duo entertained audiences and A-listers alike with their one-liners and tongue-in-cheek humor between 2003 and 2006. They even had the opportunity to interview some high profile and famous public figures such as Tony Blair, Will Smith and David Beckham during their time. on the ITV variety show.

Now grown up, James, Little Ant, continued to work for BMW, while Dylan, Little Dec, became the owner of a food company.

In 2021, the foursome even had a sweet reunion and the two stars shared what it was like to see Ant and Dec again. Dylan said at the time: “It’s always good to see Ant and Dec again. They were shocked to see us, it’s been a few years since we caught up and we’re a lot taller! It was a really good experience.”

Meanwhile, the TV superstar duo are on the hunt for a new Ant and Kid to take part in series 20, which will be the last before the break. In a statement posted on social media, Ant said: “We love doing Saturday Night Takeaway, but reaching the 20-series milestone felt like the perfect time to pause and catch our breath.”

His co-host, Declan Donnelly, added: “We’ve still got an important 20th series to look forward to so we’ll do our best to go out (for now) with a bang in 2024.”
