From 2011 to 2014, he appeared in the TV series “Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev”. Here, he plays the roles of Lord Vishnu, Lord Ram, Lord Krishna and Lord Dattatreya. He became a household name when he essayed the roles of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna in the mythological television show Mahabharata (2013-14). The producers of Mahabharata were so keen on him playing the role of ‘Lord Krishna’ that they kept Saurabh on hold for a year, paying him a lump sum every month, so He won’t do any other projects.

His fans expressed sadness over his elimination and accused the show of being biased against Saurabh. They also said that the task assigned to Saurabh was “unfair”. After being eliminated, he said he would no longer do reality shows.

Identity thieves on Facebook
In 2012, an imposter interacted with his friends and fans on Facebook under his name. The impostor not only used Saurabh’s photos but also often chatted with Saurabh’s friends, especially his female friends. He also exchanged phone numbers and used foul language. Saurabh came to know about it through one of his fans. Saurabh informed the Facebook authorities about the situation, following which they took necessary action.
Legal action against builder
In 2022, Saurabh shared on social media that he invested in a property in Sunteck City ODC, Goregaon, Mumbai, but did not get ownership of the property. The builder allegedly promised that the property would be completed by March 2020, but repeatedly delayed it using various excuses. Saurabh spoke of spending a lot of time and money on the property. He said representatives from the construction company changed every month, but he never got an appropriate response from them. He further stated that he would take legal action against the company if calling out to them on social media does not work.
