Scarlett Johansson Trolls Husband Colin Jost with Her Hat During Date Night at Mets vs. Dodgers Game

Scarlett Johansson understood the task. Well, sort of.

The Fly me to the moon actress and husband Colin Jost attended Game 4 of MLB’s NLCS at Citi Field in New York, where the Los Angeles Dodgers took on the New York Mets on Thursday (October 17).

For the game, Jost, 42, wore a Mets hat, while Johansson, 39, wore a hat that read “THE MET,” referring to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

After the couple, who tied the knot in 2020, were spotted wearing hats during the broadcast, a video of the couple went viral. Fans were quick to judge this cheeky fashion statement.

“Scarjo wore a MET cap, like at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, to a Mets game 😂 ICONIC,” wrote one user on X. Another imagined a conversation the pair had ahead of their date night, where Black widow the star didn’t have a Mets hat, but thought a hat that said “THE MET” would do.

Johansson was born in New York and is a well-known Yankees cheerleader, following the team while in high school. “They were killing each other when I was in high school,” she told Parade 2021 of their 1998–2000 World Cup run. “They had an amazing all-star team.”

She’s such a fan of Derek Jeter that she “kept his rookie card in my wallet.” The actress also talked about the Jost baseball rivalry in New York. Jost, meanwhile, grew up in Staten Island and is a huge Mets fan.

“It’s a painful subject,” she told the publication. “He just told me that he would rather see [Boston] The Red Sox win more than the Yankees. As?! I said I would just ignore it.”
