Scholastic brings young readers “the following evolution of storytelling” – with a little help of some friends!
The Publishing Company will start The last means A series in September, offering an innovative and interactive turn for mid -grade mystery lovers. And now people can exclusively discover the cover of the first book in the series, by the author of Newbery Medal, Erin Entrada Kelly.

The process is relatively simple: readers just scan the pages to see “ghosts” appear via their phone or mobile devices, offering them the opportunity to “crack the puzzles” and “solve mystery”, as well as a chance for an extraordinary conversation, explains the publisher.
The first book in the series will arrive on September 2 from Kelly, and New York Times Bestseller and a double winner of Newbery medal.
Her monitoring of the author of Newbery Honor Jasmine Warga arrives in the spring of 2026, with a third book appointed for the fall 2026.

Kelly’s book-tied to children at the age of 8 and 12-year-old story about a 12-year-old named Lila, who has to spend her summer in Ohi at the “Creepy Victorian Inn of the late grandfather”, where “strange things are constantly happening,” according to Synopsy from Scholastic.
After Lila ran into her grandfather Clem to her funeral, he tells her that he was killed and that his inn was actually “a portal between the land of the living and the kingdom of the dead.” Now he has to stop “evil spirits desperately to return to the human world” with the help of some friends – a suitable turn in a series where children get the opportunity to see Goule for themselves.

Warga, who is the author of the second book in the series, adds that working on his own book “Bio Wild Fun” and gave her the opportunity to “write in a brand new genre.”
